Hey Concierge vs Asksuite

A side-by-side comparison for independent hotels, villas and resorts of 30 to 150 rooms - including the parts where Asksuite is clearly ahead of us.

Last reviewed 27 August 2026. Competitor facts taken from asksuite.com on that date.

The short answer

Asksuite is the larger and more integrated platform. It states 5,500+ hotels in more than 80 countries, 400+ booking engine integrations and 50+ languages, and it holds a 4.9/5 rating from 970+ verified reviews on Hotel Tech Report. If you need live booking-engine availability inside the chat, or coverage of webchat, Facebook Messenger and email as well as WhatsApp, Asksuite covers ground we do not.

Hey Concierge is the cheaper, narrower, WhatsApp-first option. Pricing is published and flat - $99, $199 or $399 per property per month - with no setup fee during early access, and WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram run in production today. We are a 2026 entrant with two properties live, not a market leader, and this page says so.

What is Asksuite?

Asksuite is an omnichannel platform for hotel reservations and guest service. Its core product is an AI reservation assistant that answers inbound guest questions and pushes travellers towards a direct booking, wrapped in an omnichannel inbox and CRM that consolidates conversations from several channels into one screen for the reservations team. Around that sit AskFlow agents for automation, an AI copilot for human agents, and an AI data hub with reporting. Asksuite's own site states that it serves 5,500+ leading hotels in more than 80 countries and offers 400+ booking engine integrations, and that its assistant works in 50+ languages.

What is Hey Concierge?

Hey Concierge is an AI concierge for independent hotels, villas and resorts that lives inside the guest's own messenger. It answers guest questions 24/7 strictly from the hotel's approved knowledge base - website, rate sheets and internal documents - using retrieval-augmented generation, takes direct bookings without OTA commission, and sells late checkouts, spa slots, tours and transfers during the stay. When a question falls outside the approved knowledge base it says so and hands the thread to hotel staff rather than guessing. It replies in the guest's own language, detected from the first message, and the whole team works from one shared inbox. It launched commercially in 2026 and is early access.

Where is Asksuite stronger than Hey Concierge?

Four places, and none of them are close.

Where is Hey Concierge stronger?

Our production number, stated in full. 64.8% of guest conversations were handled with no message from hotel staff, across 4,723 conversations at two properties in production, June-August 2026. Two properties is a small sample and one season is a short window; treat it as an early signal, not as an industry benchmark.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Asksuite if live availability and rates from your booking engine have to appear inside the conversation; if guests reach you through a website chat widget, Facebook Messenger or email as well as WhatsApp; if you run several properties and need a vendor with a documented reference list and formal support commitments; or if a procurement process will require third-party reviews.

Choose Hey Concierge if WhatsApp is where your guests actually write; if you want a published, flat, per-property price you can approve today without a sales cycle; if you are one property or a handful of villas rather than a chain; if Telegram matters in your market; or if you would rather have a founder set up your knowledge base by hand than open a support ticket.

Choose neither yet if the real bottleneck is that nobody has written down your rates, policies and standard answers. Every AI concierge, ours included, is only as good as the knowledge base behind it. Two hours spent producing a clean rate sheet and a 30-question FAQ improves any of these products more than the choice between them.

FAQ

Hey Concierge vs Asksuite: common questions

Is Asksuite better than Hey Concierge?

For most measurable criteria that a large or mid-size hotel cares about, Asksuite is the stronger product today. It states 5,500+ hotels in more than 80 countries, 400+ booking engine integrations and 50+ languages, and it carries a 4.9/5 rating from 970+ verified reviews on Hotel Tech Report. Hey Concierge is a 2026 entrant with two properties in production. Hey Concierge wins on a narrower set of criteria: a published flat price from $99 per month, no setup fee during early access, Telegram alongside WhatsApp and Instagram, and hands-on founder-led onboarding for properties of 30 to 150 rooms.

How much does Asksuite cost compared to Hey Concierge?

Asksuite does not publish a price list. Its website states that pricing depends on the hotel's needs, so you have to request a quote. Hey Concierge publishes flat per-property pricing: Starter $99 per month for up to 500 guest conversations on WhatsApp, Growth $199 per month for up to 1,200 conversations on WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram, and Pro $399 per month for up to 2,500 conversations and up to five properties. Extra conversations are $0.07 each and there is no setup fee during early access.

Which channels does each product cover?

Asksuite's website lists WhatsApp with the official API, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, webchat and inbound email, plus WhatsApp campaigns. Hey Concierge runs WhatsApp Business, Instagram and Telegram in production today, with Facebook Messenger rolling out to its first cohorts. Telegram is not listed among Asksuite's channels, and Facebook Messenger, webchat and email are not live on Hey Concierge yet. If your guests write to you on Facebook Messenger or through a website widget today, Asksuite covers that and Hey Concierge does not.

What can Asksuite do that Hey Concierge cannot?

Asksuite states 400+ booking engine integrations, while Hey Concierge has no property management system or channel manager integration live in production: Cloudbeds, SiteMinder, STAAH and eZee Absolute are in build and pilot with its first cohorts. Asksuite also offers webchat, Facebook Messenger, email as a channel, an AI data hub and analytics built on years of aggregated hotel data, and a far longer list of references and third-party reviews. A hotel that needs live availability and rates pulled from its booking engine into the chat should choose Asksuite today.

Does either product invent prices or policies?

Hey Concierge answers only from the knowledge base the hotel approves - website, rate sheets and documents - using retrieval-augmented generation, and when a question falls outside that base it says so and hands the conversation to staff instead of guessing. Asksuite's site does not describe its grounding mechanism in those terms, so we make no claim about how it behaves. Ask any vendor to demonstrate what happens when a guest asks about something the knowledge base does not cover: that single test separates the products more than any feature list.

Which one should a 60-room independent hotel in Southeast Asia pick?

If almost all guest traffic arrives on WhatsApp, the budget is a few hundred dollars a month, and nobody on the team wants to run a procurement process, Hey Concierge is the closer fit: a published price from $99 per month, WhatsApp live on day one, and a person from the team on the account. If the property runs a booking engine whose live availability must appear in the chat, sells across Facebook Messenger and webchat as well, or needs a vendor with a long reference list and formal support commitments, Asksuite is the safer choice and worth the quote request.
