Hey Concierge vs HiJiffy

Two of the very few AI concierge vendors that publish their prices, compared line by line - including the tiers where HiJiffy costs less and covers more than we do.

Last reviewed 27 August 2026. Competitor facts and prices taken from hijiffy.com on that date.

The short answer

HiJiffy is the broader platform and, at its Pro tier, the cheaper one. It states 2,600+ hotels worldwide and 80+ integrations, covers thirteen channels including webchat, SMS, voice and the Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb inboxes, ships digital check-in and full guest-journey automation, and prices Pro at $179 per month against our Growth at $199. Its Pro plan states unlimited messages; our plans cap conversations.

Hey Concierge is stronger at the entry tier and on WhatsApp-first properties. Starter is $99 per month with 100+ languages and no setup fee during early access, where HiJiffy's comparable tier carries a setup fee and is limited to 25 FAQ topics and 3 languages. We are also a 2026 entrant with two properties in production, which is a fraction of HiJiffy's footprint.

What is HiJiffy?

HiJiffy is a guest communications platform for hotels, built around two AI products: a Booking Assistant that converts enquiries into reservations before the stay, and a Virtual Concierge that handles requests during it. Both sit under Console, a single interface where staff see every conversation across channels, and the platform extends into digital check-in, guest-journey automation and multi-property management. HiJiffy's own site states 2,600+ hotels worldwide and 80+ available integrations, and it is one of the few vendors in this category that publishes a full price list rather than requiring a quote.

What is Hey Concierge?

Hey Concierge is an AI concierge for independent hotels, villas and resorts that answers guests inside their own messenger. It replies 24/7 strictly from the hotel's approved knowledge base - website, rate sheets and internal documents - using retrieval-augmented generation, takes direct bookings that carry no OTA commission, and offers late checkout, spa, tours and transfers during the stay. When a question is not covered by the approved knowledge base, it says so and hands the thread to staff rather than guessing. It detects the guest's language from the first message and replies in it, and the team works from one shared inbox. It launched commercially in 2026 and sells in early access.

How do Hey Concierge and HiJiffy compare?

Which is cheaper in the first year?

This is our own arithmetic from the two published price lists, on monthly billing, for one property, and you can redo it yourself in a minute.

Read that honestly. We are cheaper in year one at every tier, by between $200 and $230. From year two we are more expensive at the mid and top tiers, and our conversation caps mean a high-volume property will pay overage where HiJiffy Pro would not. If raw cost at high volume is the deciding factor, HiJiffy wins and we would rather you learn that here than after signing.

Where is HiJiffy stronger than Hey Concierge?

Where is Hey Concierge stronger?

Our production number, stated in full. 64.8% of guest conversations were handled with no message from hotel staff, across 4,723 conversations at two properties in production, June-August 2026. Two properties over one season is a small sample. HiJiffy publishes case-study automation rates from a much larger base; compare the samples, not just the percentages.

Which one should you choose?

Choose HiJiffy if guests message you through the Booking.com, Expedia or Airbnb inboxes; if you want webchat on your own site, SMS or voice; if digital check-in and post-stay automation should come from the same vendor; if your property runs high conversation volume and per-conversation overage would hurt; or if a vendor with 2,600+ hotels behind it is what your owners need to see.

Choose Hey Concierge if WhatsApp is where your guests actually write; if you want a multilingual assistant at the $99 tier rather than at the $179 tier plus setup; if you would rather not pay a setup fee at all; if you run one property or a few villas and want a person from the vendor's team on your account; or if a hard, published rule against inventing prices and policies is what you are shopping for.

Try both if you can. Both vendors publish prices, so you can price a year of each before you take a single sales call - which is more than most of this category allows.

FAQ

Hey Concierge vs HiJiffy: common questions

How much does HiJiffy cost compared to Hey Concierge?

Both vendors publish prices, which makes this comparison unusually concrete. On monthly billing HiJiffy lists Basic at $109 per month plus a $109 setup fee per five properties, Pro at $179 per month plus a $449 setup fee per five properties, and Premium at $359 per month plus a $699 setup fee per five properties, with Enterprise on request. Hey Concierge lists Starter at $99, Growth at $199 and Pro at $399 per property per month, with no setup fee during early access and extra conversations at $0.07 each. HiJiffy Pro is $20 per month cheaper than Hey Concierge Growth before setup fees are counted.

Is HiJiffy cheaper than Hey Concierge?

It depends on the tier and on the first year. Month to month, HiJiffy Pro at $179 is cheaper than Hey Concierge Growth at $199, and HiJiffy Pro states unlimited messages while Growth caps at 1,200 guest conversations. Over a first year on monthly billing, our own arithmetic from the two published price lists gives HiJiffy Pro $2,597 for one property, made of twelve months at $179 plus the $449 setup fee, against $2,388 for Hey Concierge Growth with no setup fee during early access. At the entry tier the order flips: Hey Concierge Starter is $1,188 for a first year against $1,417 for HiJiffy Basic, though HiJiffy Basic is limited to 25 FAQ topics and 3 languages.

Which channels does HiJiffy support that Hey Concierge does not?

HiJiffy's channels page lists webchat, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, email, SMS, Booking.com, Expedia Group, Airbnb, voice, app embedding and a progressive web app. Hey Concierge runs WhatsApp Business, Instagram and Telegram in production, with Facebook Messenger rolling out to its first cohorts. So HiJiffy covers webchat, email, SMS, voice and the OTA inboxes of Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb, and Hey Concierge does not cover any of those today. If guests message you through the Booking.com inbox, HiJiffy handles it and Hey Concierge does not.

How many languages does each product support?

HiJiffy states 3 languages on its Basic plan and 132 languages from its Pro plan upwards. Hey Concierge supports 100+ languages on every plan including Starter at $99, with the guest's language detected automatically from the first message. The practical difference is at the entry tier: a hotel paying HiJiffy's Basic price gets three languages, while the equivalent Hey Concierge plan is multilingual out of the box.

What can HiJiffy do that Hey Concierge cannot?

HiJiffy states 2,600+ hotels worldwide and 80+ available integrations, against two properties in production and no live property management system integration for Hey Concierge. HiJiffy also ships digital check-in, guest journey automation across the whole stay, multi-property management, WhatsApp campaigns, OTA inbox coverage and voice, none of which Hey Concierge offers today. A hotel that wants one vendor for pre-stay, check-in, in-stay and post-stay communication should look at HiJiffy rather than at us.

When is Hey Concierge the better choice?

When the property is small, WhatsApp is where guests actually write, and the entry tier has to be genuinely usable. Hey Concierge Starter is $99 per month with 100+ languages and no setup fee during early access, where the comparable HiJiffy tier carries a setup fee and a 3-language, 25-topic limit. It also fits properties that want a person from the vendor's team building the knowledge base by hand during onboarding, and properties that need a hard guarantee that the assistant answers only from approved documents and escalates to staff rather than guessing.
